Aguilar Elected Chair of Legislature's Executive Board

As he promised, Nebraska State Senator Ray Aguilar of Grand Island put his own name forward to be chairman of the executive board. Aguilar, the longest tenured senator in the unicameral, was elected as chair over Machaela Cavanaugh of Omaha.  The executive board basically serves as the internal management of the legislature. The legislative session opened this morning.
