On Saturday, November 1st, The Elks Lodge at 631 S. Locust Street will be hosting a German Elktoberfest Dinner & Dance. THE PUBLIC IS WELCOME. The doors open at 5 PM with a $15 entry fee. There will be a Polka band, The Happy Players, performing from 6-11 PM. A 6-item menu consisting of Bratwurst, Jumbo Dogs, Braised Red Cabbage, German Poutine (fries topped with cheese & brown gravy), Bavarian Sauerkraut, and Pretzel with Mustard /Cheese Sauce. Each item is a la carte for $3.00 each. There will be a cash bar available. Water and coffee are included with the entry fee. There will be a freewill donation dessert table. The proceeds will go to Alfredo Ramirez's Mr. Habitat for Humanity campaign. Please dress up in your best German outfit, put on your dancing shoes, and bring a friend.
